CP Intertrade Company Limited (CPI) is a subsidiary company of Charoen Pokphand Group in Thailand. The company was established in 25 September 1979. The company is the number one of rice processing producer under brand of “ROYAL UMBRELLA” to lead the global brand with capacity about 1.5 million m/tons production per year. And also the company can export rice products to more than 100 countries worldwide. The company produced rice under GMP HACCP and ISO 9001: 2008. To company, “Rice is Life”. There are several products such as Instant Rice Vermicelli, Instant Noodles, Canned Food, Tapioca Starch and Thai Jasmine Rice Snack Vermicelli. There are six business core values of the company: three benefits, speed and quality, simplification, innovativeness, accept change, and integrity and honesty. Moreover, the company received the best awards as Prime Minister’s Award in 1999 and 2005, Super Brand in Singapore in 2003-2011, and World Best Rice Award in 2011.

 

Most important strategy, CPI also builds the port for marine transportation system in the nearby areas directly connected to the production plants. It is the first marine transportation system of Thailand which can help in environment conservation. The company uses motor cargo ships in the export and the transportation of product to domestic warehouse instead of using the trucks in the transportation to make more efficient.
