Experience Sharing
Cooperative Education is a great program that gives student an opportunity to experience real life before they graduate. I have learnt many things from this Cooperative Education program while I was at Nice Apparel. First, of course I get to know process of supply chain and product development. Moreover, getting a chance to join Under Armour quality assurance training session was so valuable to me. I have gain a lot of knowledge in garment business that it is very helpful to me because I can use to adapt with my family business. Another thing is I feel valuable to the word “Alumni’s” and the important of University, College, or School.
Suggestion
Suggestion to future cooperative education student who are interesting to work at Nice Apparel. It will be very useful to students who are looking for manufacturing business or doing a Multinational corporation because they have great organization structure. Students have to be observant and questionable because this company will not treat you like a student, they will treat you like you are one of their workers. If you try to observe their working system, there are many things that you can learn from this company.

NICE GROUP’S POSSIBILITY FOR GOING DOWNSTREAM IN THE VALUE CHAIN OF MUAY THAI INDUSTRY
Nice group’s looking into the possibility to going further downstream in the value chain. Currently, they are under original equipment manufacturer or OEM but the company was interested to add some product categories under original brand manufacturer or OBM. Nice have already started with ‘Pree’, a boutique line of Yoga wear that was starts by Ms. Preeyada Jirawatwong, she is the daughter of Mr. Prasob Jirawatwong, the owner of Nice Apparel Company. From being the biggest sportswear manufacturer in Thailand and have well experience in garment business, the company believes that they can compete in Muay Thai market from having an advantage of producing in the lower cost. Nice can use equipment they to help producing Muay Thai short and can add value to its product. Under OBM Nice will be able to sell in higher but not much cost, this will lead to higher profit margins.
