As Home Decorative Products is the leader in Furniture Fittings and Surfacing & Flooring Materials, the company also would like to be the total solution in Architectural Hardware. Now there is a great opportunity that high end projects are growing so the company should respond the needs of this target market by presenting the high security products from what company have and look for the products that may suitable with the customers’ needs to import.

 

To do this project, I need to study all Architectural products on hand and grouped the products that concerned with security. Then I need to study the products from what our suppliers have to see which products are interesting and responding the needs of customers in order to recommend to the company.

 

After studying many products, I recommend Eyelock Iris Identity Management ‘EyeSwipe Nano’ from Stanley to the company. As the customers in high end projects want high security to worth what they pay so eyelock is the answer as iris is second to an only individual’s DNA so it is almost impossible to rob. Meanwhile, there are still no dealers who import or trade iris door lock, if Home Decorative Products import this product and can get this target market, the company will become the leader in Architectural Hardware.

Experience Sharing

 

First, I have the opportunity to visit the famous design firm such as PIA Interior Company Limited. PIA have over 130 professional staffs that have responsible for many well known projects such as AIS Serenade at Siam Paragon, The Pano Condominium at Rama III, BerliJuker at Sukhumvit 42, Unilever Thai Trading Limited and more. The decoration of the workplace which makes people feel comfortable that can lead to creativity. I can see the difference between PIA Interior company and others designer firms which clearly show by presentation period, they pay attention to the company’s interesting products which have high quality and innovative, and ask straight to the point that they need to know before purchasing the products.

 

Second, I have gone to visit the biggest market where gather Architectural Hardware items called Bang-Po. I get the chances to talk with the shop owners and customers which made me know more about the company’s products, competitor’s products, problems, and suggestions.

 

Last but not the least, I have visit competitor showroom ‘HAFELE’ when it have Big Clearance Sales 2014.From entering this event, I learnt how they show the products, set promotions, set up the booth and activities, etc. I can use these knowledge to apply with the company strategy.

Suggestion

 

Home Decorative Products is easy to travel as it located between Thong Lor and Ekamai BTS stations. Not only the environment is good but also the colleagues. However, Home Decorative Products is in the furniture fittings industry which I am sure almost everyone does not know about it, so the students who are willing to take Cooperative Education here should study hard about the company.
