My responsibilities are followings:

  • Checks the error of input VAT.

  •  Translates the notes in financial statement.

  •  Records fixed asset for kitchen furniture department.

  • Conducts report about withholding tax.

 

I also have a chance to work across department with corporate communication to help them conduct learn@site for 5 batch and 35years anniversary project. Moreover, there are outside learning such as joining the seminar about new world of single at Sasin and visiting P1, P2 factory and M space branch.

Project

 

Topic: “Enhance Effectiveness of Modernform’s Accounting Document” A case study of output VAT

 

Reasons

1. Nowadays, people more concern about global warming and environment conservation. Applying the electronic filing will help company conserve resource and budget and also create the awareness of environment conservation.

2. The electronic filing is use widely in business world because of the performance and accuracy is vital to the organization. Accounting department can also bring benefit to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency in their working process.

3. Maintaining clear workspace help you protect unauthorized access and ensure that sensitive information will not exposed

4. As a result of clear workspace, it will make staff happy to work in clean and clear atmosphere. And they will have more private space on their workplace.

 

Result

1. Paper reduction - the number of papers will decrease according to the number of transactions in that year. The average of transaction per year is around 100,000 series. So, the number of papers will decrease 1 copy per 1 series that approximately reduce 100,000 sheets per year. Moreover, it can reduce waste and reduce the process of shredding papers when the document is expired. And this will support the paperless policy of the company as well.

2. Cost reduction - The cost of papers reduce according to the new rate that supplier offers because the number of copies in each series change from 6 to 5. New rate may decrease 8% based on the marginal cost and market price. The cost reduce can approximate calculate by compare with the number of papers decrease and new rate which reduce from 2.50 baht per series to 2.30 baht per series. If the transaction per year is approximately 100,000, the department can save around 20,000 baht per year.

3. Time reduction - It will facilitate and reduce time of searching in case of losing the Yellow copy. Accounting department can reach the electronic document through the system and print it out instead of searching Green copy at document storage and make photocopy.          

4. Space reduction - Uploading the document into system will save space for filing papers and make the workplace looks clean and clear. For tax invoices, the Revenue Department is determined to keep them at least 5 years but generally at 7 years which approximate hundreds of boxes need to keep at document storage.

I recommend the future cooperative education students to work with Modernform Group Public Company Limited because this company provides you a significant support and all members here are very kind. It is a great opportunity to work in one of famous furniture company which you can gain a lot of experience here.
