Experience Sharing

 

There are many experiences from the cooperative education and I wish my experience sharing can help you to make the right decision. Firstly, I had opportunity to be the marketing team in the annual sale day which had to prepare the answer to customers that got the problem. Secondly, I was one of the staff in learn @ site day. Thirdly, I was to be the actor in Modernform’s advertisement (VDO) about the office furniture and they said the advertising will launch in the showroom. I had the opportunity to study about Photoshop and llustrator then I could help my team to do the art work and these skill help me a lot for doing the powerpoint slides. Fourthly, I was one of the staff in the 35th celebration anniversary event that had to take the guess in level of executive.

 

For the problem, I think everyone must face with the problems it is depend on who face the big one or small one. For me, I faced just one problem; It is the culture and it is the big one for me because Modernform’s culture is quite formal that is opposite with my characteristic definitely 100% so when I was working I felt like not comfortable to talk, act, and etc. But this was the best chance to improve and develop myself. One time, I thought I wanted to withdraw cooperative education because I felt Moderform is not my place to stay but I really had to thank you my teachers and mentors that tried to talk with me and changed my mind. Especially my mentors, they just know me for 2 months but they tried to talk with me very nice and also tried to understand me even my position was just trainee. What do you think about them, they are the mature that work for a long time as the professional in this company but they were really care just one of trainee that cry to withdraw as the kid like me. Finally I decide to adapt my to the company; my mentors always help me all the time and never mad at me.

 

One thing that I really impress is trust from the mentors. As I wrote in the second paragraph they gave me the chance to continue the work even I might make trouble to them again but this is not the only thing that I impress because when I was doing cooperative education Modernform also has the 35th celebration anniversary and in the event Modernform want to open the video “the process of production Soulmate chair (the gift that Modernform want to give to their partner)”. The duty was come to my team then the great opportunity came to me. My mentors assign me and my friend to record all of the production process and sent to editor. It is very challenge me because I never study in this way before. Finally my friend and I could finish it and our work was opened in front of more than 100 Modernform’s partners. Moreover my mentors let me to join many important meeting even the meeting with executive and also give me the chance to share my idea to them. So I could gain a lot of experiences from these things so much.
